West Ham have made an announcement asking fans to take their seats early for the Man City clash for two very special guests.

West Ham face the daunting task that is trying to get a positive result against champions and treble winners Man City at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham have already proved themselves to be one of the form teams so far this season.

And both the Hammers and Manchester City have made unbeaten starts which saw bosses Pep Guardiola and David Moyes nominated – but ultimately snubbed – for the manager of the month gong.

As one of – if not the – best teams on the planet, it’s clear West Ham are massive underdogs despite Man City missing four key players.

But there is a big carrot being dangled as the Hammers can go top the fledgling Premier League table with an unlikely win.

With the likes of Mohammed Kudus now on board, there’s the kind of hopeful buzz in the air around West Ham that has made life difficult for the best of teams down the years.

And the home fans could play a huge part in generating the kind of atmosphere that can make things difficult for the visitors.

It seems Hammers fans will be even more revved up come kick-off too.

Taking to their official social media accounts, West Ham have asked fans to take their seats early ahead of the 3pm kick-off to welcome back legend Paolo Di Canio as he takes to the field

And Di Canio will be accompanied by his grandson for the first time too.

“Club legend Paolo Di Canio will be in attendance at tomorrow’s game v Man City!” West Ham said.

“Hammers, be in your seats early to welcome Paolo to London Stadium.”

Di Canio, donning the Fila kit he used to grace during his mesmeric spell in east London, also recorded a video message to supporters, saying he can’t wait to see West Ham fans again and revealing his grandson is a big Hammers supporter.

You can see Paolo’s message in the post below.
