West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini could name a surprise starter as he makes a solitary change for Sunday’s game against Chelsea.
West Ham finally got their first Premier League points under the Chilean last time out.
The 3-1 win at Everton has eased the pressure on the Hammers after they started the season with four straight defeats in the league.
Victory at Goodison Park was just the tonic ahead of a daunting run of games, starting against Chelsea this weekend.
They say never change a winning team.
One major change on the cards?
And given West Ham’s torrid start it is important players know they will keep the shirt if they perform.
But Pellegrini has tinkered with his side each week in search of the right formula.
He seemed to find it at Everton.
A major change to that side could be on the cards, though, due to injury.
Pellegrini has confirmed Marko Arnautovic is a doubt for the visit of a team West Ham fans love to hate (Sky Sports).
It will be a huge blow to the East Londoners as Arnautovic very much makes them tick.
So Pellegrini looks set to be forced into a solitary change, but who will come in?
Javier Hernandez has been stuck down by a bug and will also miss out.
Can Michail step up to the plate?
That could see a surprise start as the main striker for Michail Antonio.
The controversy surrounding Lucas Perez and is eventual non-involvement at Goodison Park may have a bearing on whether he is considered to replace Arnautovic.
But it is more likely to be Michail Antonio who offers power, pace and workrate.
Many fans feel both fullbacks Pablo Zabaleta and Arthur Masuaku could be rotated with Ryan Fredericks and Aaron Cresswell coming in.
Zabaleta and Masuaku performed well on Merseyside, though, and deserve to keep their places.
Here’s how West Ham look set to line-up against Chelsea on Sunday.
