West Ham fans blame Pellegrini for failing to get the best out of him as a lone forward.

Statistics support that point too with Haller bagging 33 goals and 14 assists in the last two seasons when playing as part of a two.

Pellegrini will make two changes to the West Ham team that started against Wolves last time out.

Issa Diop will come back into the side in place of Fabian Balbuena, who can’t seem to string two solid performances together.

Diop’s pace will be vital against Arsenal’s speedy attacking players.

The second change will see Robert Snodgrass, who was criticised by West Ham fans for his performance against Wolves, replaced by Antonio.
