David Moyes looks set to make two West Ham changes from the Chelsea win for today’s clash with Burnley at Turf Moor.

West Ham face the perennially difficult trip to Burnley for the 2pm kick-off knowing they need to win to stave off the threat to their place in the top four.

Turf Moor is never an easy place to go, though, regardless of the Clarets’s league position as they once again look set for a season long battle against relegation.

West Ham look set to be given a possible boost, though, as reports suggest Burnley’s star player Maxwel Cornet – who has been sensational since arriving from Lyon – will miss the game with a thigh injury.

Cornet has scored five goals this season and carried the main attacking threat at Turf Moor.

But Lancs Live and Burnley Express are reporting that Burnley boss Dyche is sweating on Cornet’s fitness ahead of the game with West Ham.

Predicted line-up: David Moyes makes two West Ham changes from Chelsea win for clash with Burnley

West Ham have mounting injury problems at the back with Angelo Ogbonna out for the season, Kurt Zouma out for between six to 12 weeks and full-backs Ryan Fredericks and Ben Johnson out too.

The good news from Moyes in his pre-match press conference was that Aaron Cresswell should return to the side after recovering from a collision with a post in the defeat at Man City.

That should mean Cresswell comes back into the West Ham starting XI in one of two changes from Moyes for Burnley.

With Cresswell back, Moyes would surely revert to a 4321 despite hints he could play Declan Rice in a back five.

Cress would replace the injured Ben Johnson while Pablo Fornals will be the other change, coming in for Zouma to play in midfield.

Predicted West Ham starting XI to face Burnley:

Fabianski, Coufal, Dawson, Diop, Cresswell, Soucek, Rice, Fornals, Lanzini, Bowen, Antonio.
