David Moyes will make nine West Ham changes for Sheffield United after a big decision on Mohammed Kudus and Tomas Soucek.

West Ham and Sheffield United meet again in what’s dubbed the Carlos Tevez derby at the London Stadium.

Fans on both sides know the history so we won’t drag up old news.

But West Ham fans famously wore Tevez masks to goad Blades fans a few years ago.

Fans to get what they want with Kudus in line for first league start?

And many Hammers fans taunted Sheffield United on social media when they were thumped 8-0 by Newcastle last week asking: “Was that Tevez’s fault too?”

West Ham are looking to continue their fine start to the season by getting back to winning ways against Paul Heckingbottom’s side.

Sheffield United meanwhile are searching for a first win on their return to the top flight and to restore some pride.

Paul Merson has delivered an emphatic prediction for the clash.

Predicted: David Moyes makes nine West Ham changes for Sheffield United after big decision on Mohammed Kudus and Tomas Soucek

Hammers boss David Moyes has been speaking to the press ahead of the game and he appears to have dropped a big hint.

Because he has declared £38m summer signing Mohammed Kudus is ‘ready’ to start as the Hammers look to blunt the Blades.

Working on that basis here’s how we see the Scot playing it today.

We predict Moyes makes nine West Ham changes for Sheffield United after a big decision on Kudus and Tomas Soucek.

Aguerd had it coming but harsh on Soucek

Two players who started against Lincoln in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night will keep their place.

And we believe two regulars – Nayef Aguerd and Soucek – may find themselves on the bench.

For Aguerd it has been coming given his poor form and the impressive start from new signing Konstantinos Mavropanos.

But for Soucek it is particularly harsh. but seems the only way to fit Kudus into the side unless Moyes drops Michail Antonio, switches Bowen to striker and plays the Ghana star off the right.

So we think Kudus and Mavropanos will keep their places for the game.

Predicted West Ham starting XI to face Blades:

Areola, Coufal, Zouma, Mavropanos, Emerson, Alvarez, Ward-Prowse, Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen, Antonio.
