Paul Merson makes his prediction for hugely important West Ham vs Wolves clash tomorrow.

The Hammers play host to Wolves at the London Stadium tomorrow evening in the 5:30 Premier League kick-off.

David Moyes’s men have been in woeful form so far this season, and currently sit inside the bottom three having taken just four points from our opening seven Premier League games.

West Ham have been so poor that Moyes is now thought to be under real pressure, with Maurcio Pochettino apparently being lined up as a potential replacement for the Scot.

After two unbelievably successful campaigns, there has been a huge drop off in form from some of our key players. And they all have to prove their mettle tomorrow against Wolves.

Will West Ham have enough to earn what would be a vital three points though?

The Hammers cannot afford to lose this game, or draw it for that matter.

A win really would kickstart our Premier League campaign, with a home game against Fulham up next.

And Paul Merson told Sportskeeda why he believes West Ham will have enough to beat the Black Country outfit:

West Ham fans are a bit worried about their team at the moment, but I think they’ll be all right. For the unbelievable Premier League campaign they had last season, it’ll be a complete reversal if they don’t win this game. They set the bar so high last year that they’ve now put severe pressure on themselves. West Ham’s big names haven’t hit the levels they achieved last season. They aren’t a free-scoring side, and they’ll need to find a way to score the first goal. When they do, they’re solid at the back and force the other team to chase the game. They’ve got Antonio and Bowen on the counter, and they’ll need to go back to that blueprint. Wolves are a good team but they don’t score enough goals for my liking. West Ham are not a million miles away at the moment, and I think they’re going to get back on the horse this week.

Prediction: West Ham United 2-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Let’s hope Merson has called this one spot on. We think that we will beat Wolves as well.

The Hammers players have to take the game to Wolves right from the kick-off and impose themselves on the visitors.

The Merson prediction for West Ham vs Wolves would do us nicely.

Let’s hope that the Hammers are up to the task tomorrow.
