Official West Ham Twitter account might have just hinted that Gianluca Scamacca will start against Wolves this afternoon.

The Hammers play host to Wolves at the London Stadium in the 17:30 Premier League kick-off this evening.

West Ham have begun this season in horrendous form, and rumours have been circulating that Mauricio Pochettino is being lined up as a potential replacement for David Moyes.

If Moyes is to avoid the sack, he desperately needs three points against Wolves this evening.

And in order to achieve that, the Scot needs to make sweeping changes to his lineup in my opinion.

It may have already been hinted that one West Ham player in particular will come in for the Wolves game…

Gianluca Scamacca may well be set to start for West Ham vs Wolves

The Italian has made a slow start to life at the London Stadium.

In my opinion, the way that Moyes has eased him into action hasn’t helped matters, but only time will tell with that.

West Ham need the Italy international to start firing.

And it appears as though the West Ham hitman may be given a big chance to do just that against Wolves

Surely if Scamacca wasn’t pencilled in to start this afternoon, the West Ham Twitter admin would not have used him in the picture above.

That’s my take on it anyway.

David Moyes quite simply has to make changes for the West Ham vs Wolves clash this afternoon. If he rolls out the same old tired and predictable starting XI, there could be real trouble on the horizon for the Hammers.

Hopefully the Scot makes the right decisions and every single player selected today turns up.
