West Ham play host to Leeds at the London Stadium in the 2 o’clock Premier League kick-off this afternoon.
The Hammers faced the Whites in the FA Cup last weekend and progressed through to the fourth round of the competition after a comfortable 2-0 win.

In fact, West Ham have won our last four encounters with Leeds. We beat them 2-1 at Elland Road back in September.
The last time the West Yorkshire outfit beat the East London club was way back in 2005 and we haven’t lost at home against them since 2002 (11v11).

A win today against Leeds would be absolutely huge for West Ham. Three points would see us close the gap on second place Chelsea to just three points.
David Moyes has worked wonders since taking over at the London Stadium for the second time back in December 2019.
West Ham are a proper side now – a team that no other club will relish playing against.
Leeds, meanwhile are in the midst of somewhat of a crisis. Marcelo Bielsa has a handful of injuries to deal with and Diego Llorente is unavailable for today’s game through suspension.
The Whites are currently languishing down in 16th spot in the Premier League table, just six points clear of the relegation places.

That’s not to say that we shouldn’t be wary of Leeds today. They are the kind of team that can always spring a surprise, given how unique their style of play is.
David Moyes chooses West Ham starting lineup vs Leeds
The Scot has once again opted for a strong side to take on the Whites this afternoon.
Three points is an absolute must as we continue our push for the Champions League places.
The West Ham starting lineup consists of the same 11 players who beat Norwich on Wednesday night.
Tomas Soucek misses out again through Covid but will be back in time for our game against Manchester United next weekend.
We have more than enough about us to pick up the win. And if the players start with enthusiasm and vigour and take the game to Leeds, we should have no problem securing the three points.
