West Ham United continue their bid for Premier League survival with what looks like a difficult trip to Chelsea on Saturday.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are in good form as West Ham United look to claw their way back to safety.

Indeed, recent wins over Tottenham and Sunderland have raised hope for the Hammers, though they still remain five points adrift of safety as things stand.

Can you work out the missing trio? 🤔

Who was in goal? Which striker scored? And who played out of position in midfield?

They could, however, cut that to two once again for a few hours at least, given rivals Nottingham Forest do not play until Sunday.

Still, the Blues are in good form under Liam Rosenior and Chelsea thrashed West Ham 5-1 back in August.

With that in mind, here’s all you need to know.

Chelsea vs West Ham latest team news

The Blues will be without central defender Tosin Adarabioyo, Levi Colwill, Dario Essugo and Romeo Lavia. Cole Palmer is likely to start after recent injury issues.

West Ham, meanwhile, will not have Lukasz Fabianski available. The veteran goalkeeper is likely to return from a back injury in February, however.

Adama Traore could make his debut for West Ham after joining them from Fulham.

Chelsea vs West Ham prediction

It’s going to be a very difficult game for the Irons, there’s little doubt about that.

However, Chelsea are not always the most convincing and the omens are reasonably promising.

The last time West Ham won consecutive London derbies was back during the 2021-22 season when they beat – you guessed it – Spurs and Chelsea.

The Hammers are perhaps better suited to playing away from home, too.

Still, the Blues have their tails up right now and a draw would have to be considered a good result.
