Chelsea will undoubtedly be favourites on Sunday but the Hammers are more than capable of pulling a result out the bag.

And something that Thomas Tuchel has just said will surely give the West Ham players real confidence that they can pull off a shock on Sunday.

Chelsea boss Tuchel makes surprise press conference admission

The Blues have had an incredibly busy fixture schedule over the past couple of months what with Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup games coming thick and fast.

And Tuchel responded when asked if mental fatigue has set in amongst him and his players at Stamford Bridge, as quoted by Football.London:

“Always, but I am used to it. I reflect on the signals we give. We only had two days between the games coming from Wembley and i felt very tired after the Southampton, Real Madrid and then the Wembley game. I felt it. I asked myself what signals I gave and whether I should’ve pushed harder. It’s a bit fragile at the moment we have to say.”

The West Ham players will surely be buzzing after hearing those remarks from Chelsea boss Tuchel at his press conference today.

The Hammers have had a week off since we last played as well, so we should be well up for this one at Stamford Bridge.

A win is an absolute must if we are to keep alive our hopes of a second consecutive top-six finish in the Premier League table.

And after Tuchel’s remarks, we’re confident that West Ham can get much needed victory on Sunday.
