Brighton will be without two players for today’s Premier League clash with West Ham United.

West Ham will be looking to end a 12-game winless run in the Premier League against Brighton down on the south coast this evening.

Hammers boss David Moyes has made some really good signings this summer in the form of Edson Alvarez, James Ward-Prowse and Konstantinos Mavropanos. Mohammed Kudus is believed to be London Stadium bound as well.

However, only Alvarez and Ward-Prowse will be in contention to start this afternoon.

The West Ham fans will be desperate for the boys to end their Brighton hoodoo. They look like such a good footballing team under Roberto De Zerbi though, and beating them will be a huge task.

In all fairness, the Hammers players will just have to be on their very best form if they are to get a result today, whatever team De Zerbi fields.

Hopefully Moyes’s boys will be well up for this one and flying high on confidence after Sunday’s 3-1 win over Chelsea.

I would definitely take a draw today – that would ensure that we’ve made a strong start to our Premier League campaign.

The Brighton vs West Ham clash kicks off at 17:30 and can be seen live and exclusive on Sky Sports.
