A draw for West Ham against Man City at any time nowadays would feel like a win.
Pressure can do funny things to even the best players.
The problem is Man City and Guardiola have been there, done that and got the t-shirt many times.
They thrive on pressure. And more often that not when a challenge is laid down – as Arsenal did last night – they accept with gusto.
West Ham will need to be on their guard for a hungry beast at the Etihad. But maybe, just maybe, the pressure can start to tell and work in Moyes’ favour.
It certainly adds extra intrigue to the match, which is live on Sky Sports on Wednesday evening.
