An Argentine striker playing in Italy has absolutely raved about West Ham fans but has big fear about the final against Fiorentina.
After what has felt like an eternity, the day has arrived as West Ham face Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final in Prague.
So much is at stake and history is waiting to be made for this group of Hammers stars.
The last – and only – time West Ham tasted European glory was in the European Cup Winners Cup 58 years ago in 1965.
Believe it or not the wait has been even longer for West Ham’s opponents Fiorentina – who won the same competition four years earlier in 1961.

Argentine striker playing in Italy absolutely raves about West Ham fans but has big fear about final against Fiorentina
One man with a foot on both sides of the West Ham vs Fiorentina divide tonight is former Hammers and La Viola forward Mauro Zarate.
The Argentine striker playing in Italy has absolutely raved about West Ham fans but has a big fear about the final against Fiorentina.
Zarate, who is playing in Serie B for Cosenza nowadays, spent a season at Fiorentina after leaving West Ham.
Over 25,000 West Ham fans have travelled to Prague for the final despite less than 6k having tickets.
Speaking to Fiorentina News ahead of the final, Zarate could not speak highly enough of the West Ham supporters.

‘They make it feel like a home game’
But he predicts they will be left disappointed because Fiorentina have ‘something more’ than the Hammers up front.
“I expect a great final, even if West Ham have not done as well as they should’ve done in the Premier League, considering the squad at their disposal.
“The Hammers fans are fantastic away from home, it almost feels like they are on home turf.
“The Viola have something more in attack. I really like Luka Jovic and think he’s a great player who just needs to have that moment where he explodes.
“Arthur Cabral and Nico Gonzalez are doing well too and I expect the Argentine to strike the winning blow.
“Michail Antonio always seems to play, despite the arrival of new strikers. He is a beast, a very dangerous player.”
