West Ham fans have expressed their frustration after Grady Diangana was snubbed on international duty. Diangana received a late call-up to the England U21 squad but did not make the matchday squad for either game.

Diangana, currently on loan at West Bromwich Albion, received a call-up alongside QPR’s Eberechi Eze when Joe Willock and Dwight McNeil dropped out through injury. But Eze was given the nod over Diangana to take a spot on the bench in both games.

Aidy Boothroyd called Diangana into the squad after the midfielder hit three goals for West Brom. That included a two-goal cameo on his league debut to win the game and an impressive solo goal against Blackburn Rovers.

But Diangana was not picked as England beat Turkey and Kosovo in the European qualifiers. West Ham fans have criticised Boothroyd for picking the 21-year-old if he did not plan on using him.

Here are some tweets from West Ham fans venting their frustration on social media.
