Video footage shows West Ham star Jarrod Bowen shining straight away in England training and Jack Grealish has reacted.

Bowen has been a revelation since signing for West Ham from Hull for a bargain £20 million.

But last season the attacker took his game to new levels, scoring 18 goals and laying on 11 assists for the Hammers.

Throw in his boundless energy, tenacious workrate for the team and infectious attitude and West Ham have a player on their hands who is being coveted by the likes of Liverpool.

As a result of his relentlessly brilliant form, Bowen finally got the England call-up he deserves when Gareth Southgate named him in his squad for the upcoming Nations League matches.

Bowen joins West Ham teammate Declan Rice in the squad where he will be training and playing with the cream of English talent and looking to impress ahead of the Qatar World Cup this winter.

Well it seems the ex Hereford star has got off to a fine start.

Video posted online shows West Ham star Bowen shine straight away in England training and Jack Grealish has reacted on social media.

Bowen, Grealish, Mason Mount, Phil Foden, Kalvin Phillips and Conor Gallagher are standing on the outside of a rondo session with Rice and Conor Coady trying to win the ball in the middle.

And Bowen produced a brilliant Cruyff-style pass to finish off a long passing as the players roared with excitement at what they had just produced.

“Looking sharp from the start,” England’s media team posted alongside the video on Twitter.

Man City star Grealish watched Bowen give his team a real scare in the penultimate game of the season as he scored two fantastic goals to put the Hammers 2-0 up.

West Ham ended up drawing that game 2-2.

But Grealish was clearly mightily impressed by what he saw again with Bowen shining from the off in England training.

The £100m man posted a stunned emoji in response to the video on Twitter.

Let’s hope Bowen continues to impress and cements his place in the squad moving forwards.

Then England just need one more West Ham star in the line-up to give themselves a chance of success!
