Baptiste & Diallo: West Ham’s top two youngsters?
Baptiste and Diallo now compete at international level after making an impact for the Hammers youth teams. These two teenagers are considered to be among West Ham’s best young prospects.
Diallo burst onto the scene last season when he made his U23 debut aged just 15. The versatile attacker already has two goals in three appearances in the Premier League 2. West Ham have high hopes for the 16-year-old, who has attracted attention from elsewhere.
Baptiste has recently enjoyed a rise to prominence within the academy. The 15-year-old got his U23 chance after a series of injuries. But he has since nailed down the starting centre-back spot alongside Goncalo Cardoso.
Despite his young age, Baptiste has adapted to the physicality of competing with players eight years his senior. Both him and Diallo can showcase their ability on the international stage to prove why they are so highly-rated by the Irons.
