Forthright Mills names Rice in prestigious line-up

Ex Leeds right back Mills is not one to sit on the fence or mince his words.

And he has come out and named West Ham’s midfield general Rice in his Team of the Year.

That is despite the Hammers sitting in midtable in the Premier League under Manuel Pellegrini.

Heir apparent?

He was named alongside Manchester City’s Fernandinho and Manchester United’s Paul Pogba in midfield.

Sadio Mane, Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero make up the front three.

Liverpool ‘keeper Alisson is named in goal while Cesar Azpilicueta, Aymeric Laporte, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson make up the back five.
