One West Ham player is already on his way back to the club after suffering real disappointment on international duty.
The West Ham player has been away with his country on international duty, and although his first match went well, he was hit with a big blow in the second one.
The Hammers had eight players leave to join their respective nations for the current two-week international break.
It’s a catch 22 for David Moyes. On one hand, the Scot will be proud of having built a sqaud with so many of his players getting international recognition.
On the other though, he would have been incredibly worried about some of his key men picking up injuries – Mohammed Kudus is said to have a 50/50 chance of facing Newcastle after picking up a shoulder injury.

I personally find the international breaks painful – two weeks with no West Ham is very hard to navigate without being crippled by boredom!
However, we’ll be back in action in just six days, and one Hammer is already on his way back to Rush Green…
West Ham player already heading back from international duty
The Hammers players have enjoyed varying levels of success whilst away with their countries.
England’s Jarrod Bowen was beaten by Brazil’s Lucas Paqueta, whilst Alphonse Areola didn’t play in France’s 2-0 defeat to Germany. Tomas Soucek provided an assist during the Czech Republic’s 2-1 win over Norway, whilst Nayef Aguerd and Konstantinos Mavropanos played a part in their nation’s victories.
Meanwhile, Edson Alvarez scored for Mexico during their 3-0 win over Panama last week.

However, it was bad news for the 26-year-old out in America last night…
Alvarez has received heavy criticism in his homeland over the past few days for his disparaging comments on former national team boss Gerardo Martino.
And the former Ajax man was dealt another blow last night after his side lost 2-0 to the USA in the CONCACAF Nations League final out in Dallas.
The good news for us is that the West Ham player will no be heading back from international duty. That said, the 2-0 defeat last night will still be a bitter pill to swallow for Alvarez personally.
