Jack Wilshere could be out for as long as three months with an ankle injury.
According to The Telegraph, West Ham midfielder Wilshere will have an assessment on an ankle injury on Tuesday to discover the extent.
It could be anywhere between one week and three months on the sidelines for the central midfielder.
Wilshere joined West Ham this summer on a free transfer after leaving Arsenal. The 26-year-old’s career has been hampered by numerous injury concerns.

But he had hoped to reignite his stalling career in East London. After four games, however, he is back on the injury list.
Wilshere felt some discomfort in his ankle during training last week. Subsequently, he was withdrawn and he missed yesterday’s clash with Everton at Goodison Park.
If he is out for the long-term, the sporadic England international will join three players with serious injuries.
Andy Carroll, Winston Reid and Manuel Lanzini are all long-term absentees.
Here are what some Hammers fans said about Wilshere’s injury.
