According to a report by Football.London, West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has provided an injury update on three long-term absentees.
West Ham have been without Winston Reid all season, while summer signings Carlos Sanchez and Andriy Yarmolenko were injured at the start of the campaign.
Pellegrini revealed that Reid and Yarmolenko are unlikely to return this season, but Sanchez could make his comeback.

Pellegrini was not optimistic about Reid’s chances of recovery despite having the defender back in training now. He said: “Winston, no. I think he will not be ready this season.”
But there was more positive news regarding Sanchez. The Colombian midfielder was injured against Macclesfield Town early on in the season.
It was only the 33-year-old’s sixth game for the Hammers and he has been out since September. But he is set to return to training soon and could be back in action this season.
Pellegrini added: “Carlos Sanchez is a step forward, I think he will work with the squad next week. I think he can be involved in some games before we finish.”
However, Yarmolenko’s hopes of playing football again this season are slim. The Ukrainian winger suffered an Achilles tendon injury, which is tough to recover from.
On Yarmolenko, Pellegrini said: “Yarmolenko is working very well, he has no pain, he is running, kicking the ball, but maybe it will be too soon for him to play before we finish.
“Achilles tendon is one of the worst injuries you can have because you cannot go faster, you must exercise the ligament and then wait for a month.
“To play this season I don’t think would be good for him, it is better to do a very good pre-season. If you return after a long injury you get muscle injuries.”
This is a blow for Yarmolenko but he still has a major role to play at West Ham. The 29-year-old produced match-winning displays against Everton and Manchester United.
And if he gets back to his best, his left-foot could be a deadly weapon for West Ham. Sanchez and Reid, however, face uncertain futures after long-term injuries.
