Manuel Lanzini is unlikely to feature again in 2019 after suffering an injury against Burnley.
The West Ham midfielder’s injury just made things worse on a miserable afternoon in Lancashire. West Ham were thrashed 3-0 by a struggling Burnley side and Manuel Pellegrini’s men have plummeted to 16th.
Lanzini has fractured his collarbone as a result of a foul from Ashley Westwood. The Argentine midfielder will now need to undergo surgery and will be out until the new year, according to Sky Sports News.
West Ham misery continues

While Lanzini has not been at his best this season, he is still the type of player who can make things happen. If he returns to his top form, the 26-year-old has the ability to provide a creative spark.
Without Lanzini, the Hammers will hope that Jack Wilshere or Pablo Fornals can step up. Wilshere remains injured while Fornals has been below-par since his big-money move from Villarreal.
West Ham fans have bemoaned their lack of luck with injuries in the past and the curse has struck again. Here are some concerned West Ham fans after Lanzini’s injury was revealed.
