Video posted on social media confirms West Ham star Manuel Lanzini is back in training to face Wolves after an injury lay-off.

Wolves is a massive game for West Ham’s European ambitions this season.

Victory for the Hammers could seriously reinvigorate David Moyes’s flagging side as they push for a European spot.

Conversely defeat would see Bruno Lage’s men go above the east Londoners.

A draw does neither West Ham nor Wolves any favours at this stage of the season.

West Ham were without Argentine playmaker Manuel Lanzini for the disappointing 1-1 draw with Newcastle last time out.

Lanzini has been struggling with an Achilles problem of late. And he was sorely missed as West Ham struggled to create chances against the Magpies.

As reported by Hammers News yesterday, Moyes did not mention Lanzini when he was asked about West Ham’s injury doubts for Wolves.

Reading between the lines many would take that to suggest Lanzini would be available for the crunch clash.

Now a video posted by the club on social media has confirmed West Ham star Lanzini is back in training to face Wolves after injury.

“Location Rush Green West Ham v Wolves in our sights,” West Ham posted alongside a video of the squad in training.

And West Ham fans will be delighted with what they see at around 15 seconds in when the camera focuses in on Lanzini out on the training pitches with his teammates.

Lanzini will be vital for West Ham against Wolves who are a seriously tough nut to crack and boast one of the best defensive records in the Premier League.

West Ham will be without Vladimir Coufal and Angelo Ogbonna while Arthur Masuaku and Ryan Fredericks are also doubts.

Wolves beat the Hammers 1-0 in the reverse fixture back in November.

Lage told the press before and after that game that he felt he had West Ham worked out.

Let’s hope Moyes can turn the tables on the Portuguese this time around.
