Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that midfielder Samir Nasri is a doubt for this weekend’s Premier League match, West Ham’s official website reports.
The international break is over and West Ham return to action with a home match against Everton in Saturday’s late kick-off.
But West Ham will be without midfielder Nasri, after Pellegrini confirmed that he had picked up a minor calf injury.

Pellegrini confirmed that Nasri had picked up a calf injury but he is unsure whether the Frenchman will be fit in time for Everton’s visit.
He told his pre-match press conference (via whufc.com): “Samir had a problem in his calf this week so maybe he will not be able to play. We will see and decide the squad soon.”

After an 18-month doping ban, West Ham took a punt on Nasri in January and signed him on a short-term contract until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old has since played six times for the Hammers and provided two assists. This included a magnificent assist for the equaliser in the recent win over Huddersfield Town.
When he is on the pitch, Nasri looks impressive. But this is now the third time he has picked up an injury and fans are not questioning his fitness.
Here are several tweets from Hammers supporters discussing Nasri’s latest injury setback.
