Moyes’s boys will be desperate to get back to winning ways in their pursuit of a top six spot after the 3-1 defeat to Spurs last time out.

All the focus in the build-up has been around West Ham attacker Jarrod Bowen’s availability.

Moyes has been without his in-form star since he hobbled off during the 1-0 defeat to Liverpool at the start of the month.

There was promising news when West Ham confirmed a scan showed no significant damage to Bowen’s foot after that Liverpool game.

Bu then a recent report from The Athletic claimed Bowen had fractured a bone in his foot and was a doubt for Everton and the Europa League clash with Lyon.

Well now reporter Rosser has made a new Bowen claim that will delight Moyes and West Ham fans.

Because the star attacker is back on the grass at Rush Green ahead of a huge week.

The Evening Standard reports that Bowen is in training with a realistic focus on being back in the West Ham squad for the Lyon game rather than this weekend’s clash with Everton.

“Jarrod Bowen has stepped up his recovery from an ankle injury in a huge boost to West Ham ahead of next week’s Europa League quarter-final against Lyon,” The Evening Standard’s Jack Rosser reports.

“Bowen is back working outside at the club’s Rush Green training ground, though Sunday’s visit of Everton in the Premier League is expected to come too soon for his return…

“However, the player is now working on the grass once more, though not back with the full group just yet.”

It is brilliant news for West Ham ahead of next week’s big Europa League last eight first leg.

Let’s hope Moyes has more or less a full squad to choose from for the run in.
