West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has given a timely injury update on Pedro Obiang.
He has told The London Evening Standard that Obiang should return in time for West Ham’s next game.
After back-to-back losses and the news that Andriy Yarmolenko is injured, this is a much-needed lift for Hammers fans.
Obiang this season

Obiang started the season as a substitute but has since broken back into the first-team picture.
With injuries to Carlos Sanchez, Jack Wilshere and Manuel Lanzini, Obiang has emerged as a regular starter.
And the Spaniard has impressed, forming part of a successful midfield trio.
Spurs admission
However, Obiang was not included in the match day squad to take on Tottenham.
The 26-year-old’s absence meant that Pellegrini had to abandon his trusted 4-3-3 formation.
Without Obiang available, he did not have three central midfielders fit and ready to face Spurs.
Obiang set to return

Obiang is set to recover from his injury in time for West Ham’s trip to Leicester City.
Pellegrini said: “We don’t have any options to recover, Pedro Obiang I think will be ready, so we will need to be ready to work with the players that we have in this moment.”
But despite Obiang’s imminent return, West Ham still have many injury concerns.
Yarmolenko is out for the long-term and he joins a lengthy list of absentees.
Sanchez, Lanzini, Wilshere and Yarmolenko are joined on the sidelines by Winston Reid.
And with a hectic December schedule coming up, Pellegrini has admitted his concerns about his growing injury list.
