During the euphoria of West Ham United’s last gasp 3-3 comeback against Tottenham Hotspur fans spotted something very worrying.

Moyes explains why West Ham did not use Diangana money as expected

At 3-0 down against their rivals, West Ham looked dead and buried.

Even a much improved second half performance rarely looked capable of the record-breaking comeback that was to come.

But amid the pile of bodies celebrating Manuel Lanzini’s 94th minute equaliser West Ham fans spotted something of concern.

West Ham fans spot potential injury to Antonio

Michail Antonio had not looked his usual menacing self and was substituted in the second half.

And when he joined the bundle of West Ham players celebrating on the pitch, fans spotted his hamstring heavily strapped with ice – see above, bottom left.

Antonio has suffered with hamstring injuries throughout his time at West Ham.

Indeed Hammers fans have been at pains to point out that should Antonio’s injury problems strike again they would be left with just one striker – Sebastien Haller – in their squad.

As yet there has been no official word on whether Antonio is injured.

Instant regret over failure to sign King?

Perhaps it is just precaution.

But with the team in excellent form of late, it would be such a shame if Antonio were to be injured now.

And it would put the failure of co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold to sign Josh King under increased focus.

King would have been the ideal back-up for Antonio. But who knew West Ham might have needed him so soon.

Concern with Haller reportedly injured too

West Ham fans will be praying Antonio is not going to have a spell on the sidelines.

The Hammers have Manchester City and Liverpool up next.

And there is still mystery around Haller’s absence from the squad for the game against Spurs.

Speculation is that the Frenchman suffered a knock in training. So it will be a worry for Moyes ahead of the City game whether he will have either available to lead the attack.
