The Blues right-back has been a pivotal player for Frank Lampard this season.
The 21-year-old came through the ranks at Stamford Bridge and has now established himself as a key player for Chelsea.

James has played all 12 of the Blues’ Premier League games so far this season (Transfermarkt).
He could be set to miss tomorrow night’s clash with West Ham, however.
The Athletic claims that James has received bad news after undergoing a scan on a knee injury. The 21-year-old is allegedly now a major doubt for the game against the Hammers with surgery needed to rectify the issue.

West Ham have been in fine form this season. David Moyes’ men would have fancied their chances against Chelsea before the news about Reece James.
The 21-year-old’s absence may just give the Hammers added impetus, however.
It should be a cracking game of football with both teams in need of all three points to jump back up in and around the top four.
And Chelsea will undoubtedly be ruing their luck if they are indeed without key man Reece James for the game against West Ham.
