The 19-year-old has responded well to treatment and is now available for selection today according to the club’s official website.

The Gunners winger has been in exceptional form this season. He has arguably been the Premier League’s best young player. Saka has five goals and three assists to his name in 24 Premier League games for Arsenal this season (Transfermarkt).

David Moyes would have been rubbing his hands together at the prospect of facing Arsenal at the London Stadium without Saka this afternoon.

Arsenal get big Saka boost ahead off West Ham clash

The tricky Gunners winger is now available for selection against the Hammers.

A huge boost for Arsenal but a very big blow for West Ham.

Saka has caused all sorts of problems this season. And depending on what side he plays, Vladimir Coufal or Aaron Cresswell will have to be right on their game if they are to stop the Arsenal youngster.

Having said all of that, West Ham have defended brilliantly this season.

Our tightly knit defensive unit has been a key factor behind our fine campaign thus far. West Ham are so well drilled and David Moyes deserves huge credit for that.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be chuffed that he has Saka back in contention to play today. The Gunners will need something special to unlock our stubborn back-line. The 19-year-old winger certainly fits into that category.

Let’s just hope that we are better than Arsenal in every department this afternoon.
