West Ham picked up their second win of the season and progressed to the next round of the EFL Cup with a win over Newport County. The Hammers avoided the banana-skin loss and won 2-0 against the Welsh side.

Newport hosted West Ham and the Sky cameras sensed a shock. But Manuel Pellegrini made several changes and still picked up the win. Goals from Jack Wilshere and Pablo Fornals sealed the win. Here are seven pictures that tell the story as the Hammers beat the Exiles.
