Declan Rice had a relatively poor game for West Ham against Wolves tonight.
The 20-year-old has been the Hammers’ best, most consistent player over the past 18 months.
He was nowhere near his best at Molineux, however.
West Ham were very poor against Wolves, and thoroughly deserved to lose.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side now have just one win in their last nine Premier League games, and it seems as though Saturday’s win at Chelsea was a flash in the pan.
Throughout their woeful run of form, Rice has been one of the few players who can hold his head up high.
The England international still seems to get criticised regularly by TV pundits and rival fans, however.
And tonight, it was Wolves fans turn.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side dominated the midfield, with Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho outplaying Rice and Mark Noble.
