West Ham have made a decent start to their 2019/20 Premier League campaign.

Most of the Hammers players have been very impressive this season, but not everyone has performed well.

Here’s a look at West Ham’s three worst players so far this term…

Carlos Sanchez

The first one is fairly obvious. The Colombian has been absolutely woeful this season.

Sanchez, 33, has made five appearances. Two of those have been starts in the Carabao Cup and three have been cameo appearances from the bench in the Premier League.

He has been so far off the pace that the question has to be asked – Why is he even at West Ham?

The former Aston Villa and Fiorentina man is quite clearly not good enough for the Premier League.

And the sooner Manuel Pellegrini gets rid of the South American, the better.

Jack Wilshere

The 27-year-old arrived at the London Stadium with high expectations in the summer of 2018. His first season with the Hammers was ruined by injury, but he returned at the start of this season 100 per cent fit and full of hope.

Unfortunately for the midfielder, and West Ham, he has been incredibly poor this season, however.

Wilshere’s first touch has been heavy. He looks off the pace, and seems to be a shadow of the player he once was.

The Englishman has made seven appearances in all competitions, and he is still yet to put in even a decent display.

Fabian Balbuena

The towering Paraguayan was excellent for the Hammers last season. His performances this term have fallen off a cliff, however.

The 28-year-old has made just four appearances in all competitions for West Ham, and he has looked shaky every time he has taken to the pitch.

Balbuena really needs to raise his game, if he is to force his way back into Manuel Pellegrini’s starting XI after the two-week international break.
