Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the 24-year-old hitman to the London Stadium this summer according to The Sun.

Claret and Hugh claims that signing the Blackburn ace is actually West Ham’s number one priority.

We think Armstrong would be a sensational addition for the Hammers.

The 24-year-old scored a hat-trick for Blackburn during a 5-2 home win against Birmingham City this afternoon. It was his second three-goal haul in just two weeks.

Armstrong has now scored nine goals in his last six outings for Rovers. He is second in the Championship scoring charts behind only Ivan Toney with 28 goals in 40 league games to his name (Transfermarkt).

West Ham just need to get this one done as soon as possible.

£16 million represents great value for the Hammers. And if David Moyes manages to bring Armstrong to the London Stadium this summer, it could end up being a signing of real significance for West Ham.
