West Ham skipper Mark Noble shares what he told Manuel Pellegrini after Palace defeat

Mark Noble spoke exclusively to the Evening Standard, and shared how disappointed he was after losing to Crystal Palace two weeks ago.

The Hammers missed out on the chance to jump up to third in the Premier League table against the Eagles.

And they now sit in eighth spot, although they are just four points adrift of second placed Manchester City.

Most West Ham fans will be pleased with what they have seen on the whole this season. Especially considering how poorly Manuel Pellegrini’s men begun last term.

The defeat to Palace would have been a really bitter pill to swallow, however.

And Noble shared with the Evening Standard what he told Manuel Pellegrini after the Hammers lost 2-1 to their London rivals:

“The home defeat by Palace, just before the international break, was particularly hard to take. West Ham teams in which I’ve played have lost loads of games, but as I said to the manager the other day: ‘That one really did hurt because, had we won it, we could have been third in the Premier League table’. The way it happened made it even more galling.”

West Ham have a great chance to bounce back from their defeat to Palace when they take on a struggling Everton side tomorrow.

And if the Hammers do beat the Toffees, they could jump up to third spot in the Premier League table.
