West Ham were brilliant against Bournemouth yesterday, and numerous Hammers players took to Twitter in reaction to the victory.

The Hammers desperately needed three points yesterday, and they duly obliged.

David Moyes’s second stint in charge of West Ham could not have got off to a better start.

The Hammers pressed as a team for the entirety of the game. In fact, it was the first time they had actually pressed properly all season long.

With a tough run of fixtures ahead of them, yesterday’s result was the perfect way to instil some confidence into a team that really needed it.

Here are some of the best tweets from West Ham players after their win yesterday…

Next up for the Hammers is an FA Cup clash with Gillingham this weekend.

They then embark on a run of four incredibly tough Premier League games – Sheffield United away, Everton at home, Leicester City away and Liverpool at home.

The east London outfit currently sit just two points clear of the drop zone, so they need to take at least six points from those matches, if they are to be in a decent position come the end of the month.

West Ham at least seem more organised under Moyes than they were with Manuel Pellegrini at the helm.

And the Hammers need to use yesterday’s win over the Cherries as a blueprint for success in the future.
