Enner Valencia – Everton

The forward was a 70th minute replacement for Tom Davies as Everton lead 1-0 at home to Sunderland. The game finished 2-0 but Valencia did not score. He did get a few shots on target during his 20 minutes but they were well saved.

Tony Martinez – Oxford United

Martinez started both games for Oxford this week. He played the full 90 minutes in their 4-0 away victory over Chesterfield, setting up the first goal. It was Martinez who got behind the Chesterfield defence to square to Hall to tap home. Tony also played just over an hour in Oxfords Tuesday night win over Charlton.

Josh Cullen – Bradford City

The midfielder played the full game in Bradford’s 2-1 away win at Port Vale. He was perhaps lucky to remain on the pitch following an off the ball incident which seemed to frustrate Vale’s manager.

Martin Samuelsen – Peterborough

Samuelsen started and played 66 minutes of Peterborough’s 4-1 home loss to Southend in midweek. Peterborough were 2-0 down by the time he left the field but his side were not able to improve on that. He was an unused substitute in their 3-1 home win over Rochdale.

Jaanai Gordon – Newport County

Gordon received a red card during his side’s 2-1 loss away at Mansfield. Newport played the final 23 minutes with 10 men after his dismissal with the scores level at 1-1. Mansfield then went on to win due to a 75th minute penalty. In midweek Jaanai played the final 10 minutes of Newport’s 1-1 draw at home to Morecambe.

Marcus Browne and Reece Burke (Wigan) did not feature where as George Dobson (Walsall) was an unused substitute.
