ExWHUemployee has claimed that West Ham’s re-arranged fixture with Liverpool could take place at the end of January.

The Hammers were supposed to play the Reds today, but the Merseyside outfit’s participation in the Club World Championships put paid to that.

West Ham are currently struggling towards the bottom of the table, so missing out on playing a game is not ideal.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table, 10 points clear of second placed Leicester City.

So missing out on today’s game probably won’t affect Jurgen Klopp’s side too much.

And Hammers insider ExWHUemployee has claimed that the fixture could be rearranged for the end of January:

There are plenty of games to come between now and then. And it will be interesting to see where the two clubs are at in a month’s time.

Liverpool struggled to a 1-1 draw at the London Stadium last season. And West Ham will be hoping to do Manchester City another favour this term.

The Reds seem to be an unstoppable force, however, and the Hammers will have to be on their very best form, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of beating the champions elect.
