Declan Rice has sent a message to the West Ham fans via the club’s official Twitter account today.
There is a lot of confusion and uncertainty going around at the moment because of the recent coronavirus outbreak.
As things stand, Premier League football is set to return to action on April 3rd. There is a meeting scheduled today, however, where plenty of potential options will be discussed.
When or more likely if action does resume, West Ham have a serious job on their hands as they try to avoid relegation down to the Championship this season.
The Hammers’ next three games are against Wolves, Tottenham and Chelsea. So they will have to be on their very best form, if they are to pick up any points from those outings.
We need football back ASAP!
Hopefully the Premier League does return to action sooner rather than later. Life is just better when football is in our lives!
And with that in mind, the West Ham fans will be pleased to hear Declan Rice’s latest comments, as quoted via the Hammers’ official Twitter account:
“Hello West Ham fans. Declan Rice here. I hope you’re all keeping well. Times are really tough at the moment, but I just wanted to send out a quick message to say stay positive, stay healthy, keep following the government guidelines. And I’m sure me and the rest of the team will be out on the pitch soon making you guys happy. So stay safe and I’m sure we’ll see you soon.”
These are testing, trying times for everyone.
It is the uncertainty that makes everything harder to handle.
But hopefully Premier League football will be back before we know it, and the West Ham players can put a smile back on the Hammers fans’ faces.
