Mohammed Kudus has been absolutely woeful for West Ham United this season, that’s the harsh reality.
West Ham paid big money to sign Kudus from Ajax in the summer of 2023 – around £38 million.
The 24-year-old’s debut campaign at the London Stadium was exceptional, after he racked up 14 goals and nine assists for the Hammers.
Kudus’s poor form for West Ham this season has been attributed to too much work in the gym, but it has to be said, he doesn’t look like he’s trying as hard as he was last term.
The Ghana international looks like an absolute shadow of his former self.

Kudus is being heavily linked with a West Ham exit in the summer, and it will surprise nobody if he leaves.
Whether he stays or leaves though, one thing the former Ajax man has done this season will have made the Hammers fans really angry.
Embarrassing Mohammed Kudus realisation hits home for West Ham fans
The Ghanaian winger was truly dreadful during the Hammers’ Premier League draw with Southampton on Saturday.
His performance was symptomatic of his form in general for West Ham this season.
Some may say that his confidence is at rock bottom right now, and there’s probably some truth to that.
However, the 24-year-old simply has to do more than he has done this season.
Kudus seems to be nowhere near as explosive as he was last term, and his dribbling ability has seriously regressed.

The West Ham forward also has a serious weakness when it comes to his decision making inside the final third.
If the Hammers owners receive an offer in excess of £50 million for him this summer, they should sell him without hesitation.
‘Shop window’ Kudus at it again for West Ham
Kudus was outstanding during the Hammers’ 2-1 defeat to Liverpool last weekend.
However, he reverted to type for our home game against Southampton. The reality of the matter is that Kudus puts in performances when he’s ‘in the shop window’ so to speak.
He did the same away at Arsenal back in February. In fact, it could be argued that those two games were his only two good displays this season.
Kudus should be ashamed of himself for some of his performances for West Ham this this term.
His display against the Saints took the biscuit. It was a truly atrocious performance and he needs to be moved on urgently this summer.
