Manuel Lanzini has signed a new deal with West Ham – one that runs until the summer of 2023, as confirmed via the club’s official website.
The Hammers also have the option of extending his stay by a further two years.
The 26-year-old joined West Ham initially on loan for the season in 2015, before making his move a permanent one the following summer for around £9.4 million.
Lanzini has been a massive hit at the London Stadium, and he is a key figure for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
He missed a large chunk of last season through injury, but he now seems back to his best, certainly from a physical perspective.
If the Hammers are to enjoy a successful campaign this season, the Argentine will need to be on his very best form.
And now that his future is sorted out, he will be in a great place to do just that.
