West Ham insider ExWHUemployee today claimed that Manuel Pellegrini will be sacked if his side lose to Southampton this weekend, and some Hammers fans took to Twitter in reaction to the update.
The east London outfit are in the midst of a woeful run of form at the moment. They have won just one of their last 10 Premier League games. And they sit in 16th spot in the table, just one point clear of the drop zone.
Pellegrini seems to be totally out of his depth and his refusal to mix things up could end up costing West Ham dearly.
Many Hammers fans are fed up with the Chilean, and want him gone. But the board seem reluctant to make a move whilst the club are outside the relegation zone.
And ExWHUemployee today confirmed on Twitter that Pellegrini has the Southampton game to save his job:
The frustrating thing about this for West Ham fans is that Pellegrini’s side could sneak a lucky draw and he might still be in a job.
