According to a report from the Daily Mail, Jack Wilshere is set to make a shock return for West Ham when Premier League football resumes once again, and some Hammers fans took to Twitter in reaction to the news.

The 28-year-old has really disappointed for the east London outfit since joining the club on a free transfer in the summer of 2018.
The 34-capped England international had experienced horrendous injury problems with Arsenal before joining West Ham.
And because of that, many Hammers fans questioned the wisdom behind giving Wilshere a three-year contract worth £100,000 per week (Spotrac).
An expensive mistake
As things stand, the signing of the midfielder has to go down as one of the worst in recent history at West Ham.
And that is so frustrating, because on his day, Wilshere is a truly top class footballer.
If the 28-year-old could just find a way of staying fit for a prolonged period of time, he would surely have a key role to play for the Hammers.
It seems as though the West Ham fans have already written the midfielder off, however.
