West Ham cult hero Adrian left West Ham on a free transfer this summer, and surprisingly moved to Liverpool.
And amazingly, the 32-year-old went on to lift the Super Cup for his new side last night.
The Spaniard joined West Ham on a free transfer in the summer of 2013, and he went on to become a really popular figure amongst the Hammers fanbase.
One of the memories that will always stay in West Ham fans’ minds was when he scored a penalty against Everton in a FA Cup tie in 2015.
Adrian was a really dependable member of the Hammers’ squad over the past six years, and many of the club’s fans were sad to see him leave.
He is beginning a new chapter of his career with Liverpool now, however.
And the 32-year-old couldn’t have got off to a better start. Adrian saved Tammy Abraham’s penalty, helping his new team win the Super Cup against Chelsea last night.
