ExWHUemployee claimed that Mark Noble has already begun to coach some academy training sessions, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast (Wednesday, October 21st). And some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to those claims.

The 33-year-old is a true West Ham legend. He made his senior debut for the club in 2004. And he has since proven to be a loyal and inspirational leader for the Hammers.
Noble has made 506 appearances for the east London outfit in all competitions, racking up 60 goals and 61 assists in the process (Transfermarkt).
With the Canning Town born midfielder’s contract set to expire next summer, however, the end is nigh.
Whenever Noble decides to hang up his boots, it will be a very sad day for everyone involved with West Ham.
He embodies everything that it means to be a Hammers player, what with his working class roots and ever-endearing bond with the club’s fans.
It is actually worrying to think that the only natural leader we really have aside from Noble is Declan Rice.
Hopefully the 21-year-old stays in east London. And follows in Noble’s footsteps.
