West Ham earned a hard-fought point away at Bournemouth today, and Andriy Yarmolenko put in a stand-out performance.
The Ukrainian arrived at the London Stadium from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2018 for around £17.5 million.
His first season in England was ruined by injury, however. Yarmolenko returned to first-team training in the summer, and he has made a fine start to his Premier League campaign this term.
The 29-year-old has racked up three goals in six appearances thus far, and he will undoubtedly be a huge asset for West Ham this season.
Yarmolenko has already proven to be a real difference maker for the Hammers this season. And he will surely continue to get better as he improves his all-round fitness.
The Ukraine international showcased what he’s capable of today. He scored a beautifully taken goal that gave West Ham the lead against Bournemouth.
And some Hammers fans took to Twitter after the game to praise Yarmolenko for his display vs Bournemouth…
