West Ham were in emphatic form against Bournemouth today, and some Hammers fans absolutely raved about Pablo Fornals’ performance.
The mercurial Spaniard arrived at the London Stadium from Villarreal in the summer for around £24 million.
Fornals, 23, struggled to establish himself at West Ham initially, however.
He seems to be coming into his own in recent weeks though, and is starting to look like a real player.
When he’s on form, the midfielder looks like a real talent, but perhaps the most surprising aspect of his play has been his incredible work-rate.
He really is proof of the old saying, ‘you have to earn the right to play’.
Fornals, who earns around £60,000 per week according to Football Insider, might just go onto become a really key player for West Ham. In fact, it could be argued that he already is.
And £24 million could end up looking like an absolute snip.
