West Ham fans rave about Michail Antonio’s display vs Leicester

West Ham put in a quite frankly abysmal first-half display against Leicester tonight.

They looked like a totally different team in the second-half, however. And it was all down to one man – Michail Antonio.

The 29-year-old really put himself about, and showed Sebastien Haller what leading the line is all about.

Antonio’s pace and power gives West Ham something that they do not otherwise possess. And the worry for the Hammers is that when he doesn’t play, they look like such a weak, impotent attacking force.

If West Ham are to avoid the drop this season, they will need the former Nottingham Forest man to remain fit and on top form between now and the end of the season.

The Hammers attacker, who earns £70,000 per week according to Spotrac, is a real fan favourite at the London Stadium, and it’s easy to see why. He really does give his all for the club.

And some West Ham fans took to Twitter after tonight’s clash with Leicester, praising Antonio for what was another excellent display…
