West Ham fans rave about Michail Antonio's display vs Chelsea

West Ham ace Michail Antonio produced a magnificent display away at Chelsea today, and some Hammers fans took to Twitter to praise the powerful winger.

The 29-year-old spent three months on the sidelines after suffering a serious hamstring tear at the end of August.

He returned against Tottenham last weekend as a second-half substitute, and really impressed despite West Ham’s defeat.

Antonio started today at Stamford Bridge as a central striker. And the beast was by far the best player on the pitch. Manuel Pellegrini’s men won the game, and it’s no coincidence that they have looked like a totally different side since the 29-year-old has returned.

The former Nottingham Forest man led the line with aplomb, and the Hammers are a much better side with him in the team.

He had a goal ruled out through VAR too.

Antonio, who earns £70,000 per week according to Spotrac, is so important for West Ham, and it could be argued that he is actually indispensable.

Some West Ham fans took to Twitter after today’s win over Chelsea, and absolutely raved about the 29-year-old’s display…
