West Ham finally picked up their first points of the season with a well-deserved 3-1 away win against Everton yesterday.
It was the joyous day everyone connected with the club needed, but there was one possible sour note. Lucas Perez was called upon to replace Marko Arnautovic but was not ready to come on. Michail Antonio came on instead.
Manuel Pellegrini was at pains to point out that it wasn’t a big issue, and that should be the end of that.

Perez’s reaction may not have pleased some fans, but another player was spotted doing something the supporters loved.
Robert Snodgrass – who came in for criticism from the board last season – was straight on his feet, offering to warm up and do his bit for the team.
