Marko Arnautovic trained on Tuesday amid interest from China, according to the Evening Standard. After being left out of the squad to face Bournemouth last Saturday, the interest from China has caused a lot of issues for the Hammers in recent weeks. The situation has left many fans unimpressed by the Austrian’s actions, but some others are still backing the forward.
After Payet’s departure, West Ham fans have already experienced their star man leaving halfway through a season. Now with Arnautovic, the mood seems to be more relaxed than with Payet. West Ham fans seem to be more accepting of the transfer on the whole.
At 29, some fans have recognised the chance to cash in big on an ageing player whilst being able to reinvest. Fans should be excited at the prospect of a Maxi Gomez or similar type of young, hungry striker.
It is a tough decision for Pellegrini and the club going forward. Do they keep an unhappy star man who could have a negative impact on the dressing room? Or do they get rid of him on the cheap as soon as possible.
Hammers fans have had a lot to say on the matter and with Arnautovic’s return to training, here are a selection of tweets from West Ham fans reacting to the latest news:

A proper professional, not a massive fan of all the people giving him stick when he’s only doing what’s best for the squad while under contract. As long as he wears the shirt and represents it with pride im all ears and will continue to support him!⚒

Can't agree more. If we see a Coutinho situation where he wants his big move and plays out the season I can't begrudge him that. Aside from the Bournemouth hiccup I've seen nothing to suggest he's not the same old Arnie.
