Jack Wilshere suggested that he has unfinished business at West Ham, claiming that he doesn’t want the club’s fans to remember him as a ‘waste of time’, as quoted by the Daily Mail. And some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the midfielder’s comments.

The 28-year-old joined West Ham on a free transfer in the summer of 2018. He was handed a three-year deal worth £100,000 per week (Spotrac).
But it has to be said that his spell at the London Stadium has been a disastrous one thus far.
Wilshere has made just 16 appearances for the Hammers in 20 months, racking up just one goal and one assist in the process (Transfermarkt).
And he has made just eight appearances for the east London outfit this season (Transfermarkt).
The former Arsenal man is out of contract with West Ham in the summer of 2021.
And Football Insider claimed last month that the Hammers want to sell Wilshere in the summer.
But the 28-year-old explained how he believes he has unfinished business in east London, as quoted by the Daily Mail:
“I still feel like I’ve got unfinished business at West Ham. It’s not worked out how I wanted it to and I want to change that,’ said the former Arsenal midfielder. I don’t want to, when I’m done at West Ham, I don’t want West Ham fans to think: ‘that was a waste of time. I want to show them what I can do and when you get your opportunity you have to take it and that is my opportunity and show the manager what I can do.”
West Ham fans have heard it all before, however.
And they took to Twitter, reacting angrily at Wilshere’s comments…
